Our current vacancies include:
Project Engineer: If you are an experienced automotive engineer with a background in engine technology and project delivery then we have a great opportunity for you. As our business expands we need engineers who can plan new projects and then both supervise and participate in their delivery. A range of skills will be beneficial (e.g. practical skills, development and test experience, communication with customers, supervision of technicians/engineers) as all members of our team a required to perform varied roles. The role will focused on our engineering consultancy business but some involvement in the historic racing engines business will be required.
Engine Builder: We are seeking an engine builder, a key position within our historic racing engines business. We predominantly build Ford and Chevrolet V8 engines to a high specification suitable for the Historic Masters and Peter Auto race series. The role requires prior experience and an attention to detail as every engine is a little different. Every build is documented by the engine builder before being run-in and performance optimised on our in house dyno. We are a small team so flexibility in your approach to work is important and it is sometimes necessary to work outside core hours to attend events or respond to unplanned urgently required engines. We are happy to accommodate day-release for further education study.
Historic Engine Manager: We are seeking an experienced engine engineer who can liaise with customers, prepare quotations, schedule and supervise the delivery of work through the build shop and take responsibility for the technical delivery of our engines. Candidates must have first rate knowledge of IC engines and specific knowledge of historic race engines will be a plus. The role will at times be hands-on but it is foremost acting as the owner of this business stream and single point of contact for our customers and suppliers. A varied and busy role but one that offers opportunities to make improvements and grow the service.
